TROUT FARMS Throughout the area bounded by Twin Falls to the east and past Hagerman to the west are many trout farms. They raise and process rainbow trout that are shipped throughout the world. Some that allow visitors are the Hagerman National Fish Hatchery, Idaho State Fish Hatchery and Clear Springs Trout Company.
SOUTH HILLS From Hansen, Idaho follow Rock Creek Canyon Road (G3) south. Among the many recreational activities are skiing, snowmobiling, hiking, fishing, horseback riding and camping.
JACKPOT, NV This small town located just 47 miles south of Twin Falls on US Highway 93 offers gaming, top entertainers, dining, and golf.
HERRETT CENTER Located on the campus of The College of Southern Idaho in Twin Falls. The architecture of the structure itself is of interest. It has classical overtones accented with African slate. There are two art galleries, one of which is contemporary, and the shows change monthly. The center is home of the largest Digistar planetarium in the Pacific Northwest. It seats 150 people and has a 50-foot dome. Shows cover outer space, space exploration, and the inner spaces of the human body.
SUN VALLEY, ID A popular vacation spot, surrounded by Sawtooth and Challis National Forests. There are many popular resorts that offer year-round sports. Sun Valley resort is famous for its skiing and was developed in 1936 by the Union Pacific Railroad.
